Jinny Wang​

Jinny Wang is a young pianist from Melbourne who has received a music scholarship to Ivanhoe Girls' Grammer for her outstanding talent.

​

She insistently chose toi play piano at 5 years old and is under the tutelage of Gina Gatveckaite. Jinny successfully achieved her AmusA with distinction in 2024.

​

She enjoys collaborating with other musicians and wishes to share this experience with her students. She is also a member of the Phillips Piano Quintet. Jinny was also a sucessful candidate a the Golden Note auditions on two occasions and has performed as a solist with the Boaden Orchestra in 2024 and 2025.

Her favourite composers are Chopin, Rachmaninoff and especially Liszt; she enjoys the challenge of his passionate and technically demanding compositions.

Jinny has recently been featured on the renowned 3MBS radio programme 'The Talent' and performed pieces by Kouvaras, Rachmaninoff and Liszt.
